Devlog 0 – First look at our game

A fresh start

We’ve been thinking about this for a long time.

After years of working on different projects, starting things, experimenting, but not always being able to push them as far as we wanted. We decided to take this seriously.

We’re going to build a game for Steam.
And we’re going to document the entire process.

This is Devlog 0.

What we’re building

We’re currently working on a small-scope game with a clear goal:
build something playable, fun, and testable as soon as possible.

The idea is to release a demo in a short time frame, learn from it, and decide what to do next.

At its core, the game is an incremental/idle experience focused on creatures, where interaction and progression feel satisfying and dynamic.

We already have a strong direction, even if everything isn’t fully defined yet.

First look

Here’s a small preview of what we have so far:

Even though some systems are still missing, we already have something playable — and worth showing.

What we’re working on

Right now, our focus is on building the core experience:

  • Defining the capture system (focused on interaction, not just passive play)
  • Balancing the early game economy
  • Improving responsiveness and overall game feel
  • Making interactions more satisfying

There are still important features that are not implemented yet, but we have a clear idea of what comes next.

What’s missing

Some key systems are still in progress:

  • The full capture mechanic
  • More depth in progression
  • Better visual and interaction feedback

This is part of the process — we want to share the game as it evolves, not just when it’s finished.

What’s next

Our immediate goal is to release a solid demo.

Something simple, but fun and representative of the core idea.

From there, we’ll iterate, improve, and decide how far we want to take it.

Follow the journey

If you’re interested in seeing how this evolves, we’ll be sharing updates regularly.

You’ll also get early access to prototypes and future builds.
